Nagpur: Winter Assembly Session will start on December 8, and Nagpur is getting ready for it. All departments are working fast because the preparations are almost finished.
Legislature Office has now moved to Nagpur, so officers and staff have also come here. More than 500 staff members have reached the city. They have been given their work areas, and over 160 rooms have been cleaned and repaired for them to stay in.
In the Vidhan Bhavan area, many repair and upgrade works are going on. Workers are doing cleaning, painting, tile work, electrical work, furniture fixing, and setting up technical systems. Places like Vidhan Bhavan, Raj Bhavan, Ramani Hall, security points, barricade areas, and the media gallery are being prepared. Any damage from rain or sun has already been fixed.
Administration says that all important work will be done by December 3. From Monday, teams will start final checking—testing machines, checking security tools, arranging rooms, and running technical systems to make sure everything works properly.
Because many people will come during the session, security and traffic plans are also being made stronger. Police and other departments are holding meetings to decide the final arrangements. Officials say this year there will be a lot of activity, so everyone must finish their work on time.
