Nagpur: City has taken a kind and important step for animals. For the first time, Nagpur now has a pet cremation centre, where families can give their pets a peaceful and respectful farewell. This service is open not only for pet dogs and cats, but also for stray animals.
For many people, pets are like family. When they pass away, it becomes very difficult to find a proper place for their last rites. To solve this emotional problem, the NGO Rise has opened the Rise For Tails Pet Cremation Centre.
Idea started after the founders lost their own dog, Coco. On that day, they struggled to find a safe place for his last rites due to heavy rain. That painful moment made them decide that no other family should face the same trouble.

This centre was created to give every animal a dignified end.
Care and Treatment Under One Roof
Rise For Tails also offers many animal care services. They have brought hydrotherapy to Nagpur a special water-based treatment that helps injured or paralyzed animals recover faster.
This centre works 24 hours a day and is the only full-time animal rescue and rehabilitation centre in Nagpur.
Founder Gauri says, “Rise For Tails is more than a shelter. It is support for both animals and people. We want no family and no animal to feel helpless.”
