Mumbai: Last week of November has started, and from December 1, some money-related rules will change. These changes may affect your monthly budget. Here are the simple details:
1. LPG Cylinder Price
Every month on the 1st, LPG companies announce new prices. On December 1, the new price of domestic and commercial gas cylinders will be declared. Last month, the price of the 19-kg commercial cylinder was reduced by ₹6.50. The home-use cylinder price did not change. Everyone is waiting to see if the price will go up or down on December 1.
2. Pension Scheme Deadline
Government employees must choose one pension scheme — NPS or UPS. Last date to choose: November 30.After December 1, they may not get another chance.
3. Life Certificate for Pension
Senior citizens who get pension must give a Life Certificate.Last date: November 30.If they do not submit it, their pension may stop.
4. Tax Rules
Some taxpayers must submit forms before November 30. This includes those who had TDS under Sections 194-IA, 194-IB, 194M, 194S and those filing under Section 92E.
5. CNG, PNG and Jet Fuel Prices
Oil companies also change the prices of CNG, PNG and jet fuel every month. New rates will come on December 1. These prices affect travel and home gas bills.
