Mumbai: Political tension in Maharashtra is rising as local elections get closer. Today, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut made strong statements against Eknath Shinde group and the BJP.
“Amit Shah Will Break Shinde Camp”
Raut said that Shinde-led group is not stable and that around 35 MLAs may soon walk out.
He claimed that Amit Shah is planning this from Delhi, just like the split in the original Shiv Sena.
He also said that BJP state president Ravindra Chavan has been appointed to help with this political move.
Raut said that the Shinde faction was created by the BJP and is controlled from Delhi.
He questioned Shinde’s loyalty, asking when he ever fought or struggled for the original Shiv Sena.
He warned that money power cannot buy real public support and said that the current political culture in the state is being damaged.
