Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has received a notice from Enforcement Directorate (ED). He has been asked to appear in Delhi on Sept 23 for questioning in the 1xBet illegal betting app case.

Before this, cricketers Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, and Harbhajan Singh were also questioned. ED asked them why they promoted the app, how much money they got, and what their link was with company.

Now, Robin Uthappa has also been called along with Yuvraj Singh.

Case is connected to money laundering and Amby Valley project of Sahara Group in Maharashtra. The deal is worth about ₹300 crore. Reports say Yuvraj Singh and Robin Uthappa bought property in Amby Valley under this scheme.

ED is checking many illegal betting apps. These apps are accused of cheating people of huge money and not paying taxes. Since some celebrities are linked with these apps, ED is doing a detailed investigation.
