Maharashtra DCM Ajit Pawar made a funny comment at a farmers’ meeting held at Someshwar Sugar Factory in Baramati on 26 September. He said, “I became chairman of Malegaon Sugar Factory because I felt like it. Now I am also a member there. Soon I may also join Someshwar Sugar Factory.”
People at event were surprised at first. But when Ajit Pawar said he was joking, the crowd clapped and laughed.
Praises Someshwar Sugar Factory
Meeting was held in premises of Someshwar Cooperative Sugar Factory in Baramati taluka. Ajit Pawar praised the factory for giving the highest price for sugarcane in Maharashtra.
Ajit Pawar then said, “Do not worry, I will not become chairman of Someshwar Sugar Factory. I was only joking.”
Recent win at Malegaon Sugar Factory
A few days ago, Ajit Pawar won the election for chairman of Malegaon Sugar Factory by defeating the panel supported by Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule.
Targets Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule again
Ajit Pawar once again took indirect digs at his uncle Sharad Pawar and cousin Supriya Sule during his speech, continuing his recent trend of sharp political comments.
