New Delhi: Asia Cup 2025 has started. India played its first match against UAE and won by 9 wickets. Now, India will face Pakistan on 14th Sept.
But before this big match, an important update has come. Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar has left team and join England.
Sundar was a reserve player in Asia Cup squad, and his chances of playing in main team were very low. That is why he decided to play in County Championship in England. He got an offer from Hampshire, and he accepted it.
Hampshire Cricket Club announced on social media (X):
“We were sure about adding Washington Sundar to our team. Welcome, Washi! Indian all-rounder will play the last two matches for Hampshire against Rose and Crown.”
