Pune: In a shocking incident, a speeding cab plowed into a group of MPSC students near Bhave High School in Sadashiv Peth on Friday evening around 6 PM, leaving 12 students injured. The victims are currently undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Pune.
According to police, the cab driver, identified as Jayram Shivaji Mule (resident of Samarth Nagar Colony, Bibwewadi), was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
The incident has sparked tension in the area, with locals expressing outrage. The police have detained the driver, and further investigation is underway.
