Nagpur: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday opened new Ramanagar Flyover in Kamthi. This big road project has been built to reduce traffic jams in Kamthi city and nearby villages.
Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of State Ashish Jaiswal, former Minister Sulekha Kumbhare, and former MLA Tekchand Savarkar were present at the event.
Flyover will directly link Kamthi, the famous Dragon Palace Temple, and nearby rural areas. It also connects three major highways – Nagpur–Jabalpur (NH 7), Nagpur–Kolkata (NH 53) and Kamthi–Kuhi (SH 247).
According to Gadkari, the new flyover will give great relief to people of Nagpur and Kamptee. It will make travel to Dragon Palace Temple easier and allow heavy vehicles to move smoothly.
Both Gadkari and Bawankule promised full development of Kamptee. They said their goal is to make Kamptee a clean, modern, and beautiful city. Gadkari also praised Sulekha Kumbhare’s role in projects like the Dragon Palace Temple which have given Kamthi a special identity.
A large number of local people and BJP workers attended the programme.
