Pune: On Sept 6, big changes will happen in Pune because of the Ganesh Visarjan processions. Many main roads in Swargate and Deccan will be closed. To avoid problems for passengers, PMPML buses will use new bus stops for one day.
Roads closed:
Chhatrapati Shivaji Road
Laxmi Road
Kumthekar Road
Kelkar Road
Tilak Road
New bus stop places:
Shahu Maharaj Stop → now at Laxmi Narayan Chowk, Satara Road buses will start here.
Natraj Stop → stays at Parvati Paytha, Sinhgad Road buses will run from here.
Swargate Stop → buses to Solapur, Bhavani Peth, and Nana Peth will leave from Vega Center.
Deccan Gymkhana Stop → moved near SNDT College, buses to Kothrud Depot, Malwadi, and NDA Road will go from here.
PMPML has asked people to check new bus stops and plan their travel early. These changes are only for Anant Chaturdashi to make travel easier during traffic jams.
