Gunfight in Rajouri: Four Terrorists surrounded by Security Forces

Jammu : Gunfight broke out in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Tuesday evening. Four terrorists are believed to be trapped in the Beeranthub area of Kandi.

Firing started around 7:20 pm when terrorists attacked a police search team from Special Operations Group (SOG). Police fired back, and soon, the Army and CRPF also joined the operation.

Area is covered with snow, making the search difficult. Security forces have surrounded place and stopped movement in area.

So far, no one has been injured. 43 Rashtriya Rifles unit of the Army is leading the operation.
