Nagpur: Indian Air Force held the Maintenance Command Commanders’ Conclave at Vayusena Nagar. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, attended the event and was welcomed with a Guard of Honour by Air Marshal VK Garg, head of Maintenance Command.
Conclave focused on “Building Capability through Indian Technology”, aiming to make the IAF more self-reliant. Commanders discussed ways to improve maintenance, operations, and logistics, and shared ideas to keep aircraft and equipment ready for missions.
CAS was briefed on steps to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers, improve system reliability, and boost efficiency. He praised the staff for their hard work and their contribution to Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
He also highlighted important role of Maintenance Command in keeping the IAF ready and urged all personnel to maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.
