New Delhi: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari appealed to people to follow honesty, dedication, and truth instead of looking for shortcuts in life. He was speaking at a program of the Akhil Bhartiya Mahanubhav Parishad.
Gadkari said shortcuts may seem easy and give quick results, but they often harm a person in long run. “If you break a traffic signal to cross road, you may reach faster, but shortcut also cuts you short. That’s why values like honesty, credibility, and dedication are important. In end, truth always wins, as written in the Bhagavad Gita,” he explained.
In a lighthearted remark, minister added, “In my field, speaking truth openly is almost forbidden. The one who can fool people best is often seen as best leader.”
He also praised Chakradhar Swami, founder of Mahanubhav sect, calling his teachings a source of inspiration for everyone.
