Nagpur: Just before Diwali, IRCTC website and app stopped working for some time on Thursday morning. Because of this, many people could not book train tickets. The problem started around 10:40 a.m., right when Tatkal booking was going on.

Passengers said they were not able to log in or make payments. Many shared their complaints on social media, calling it a “Diwali travel nightmare.”

IRCTC said that all booking and cancellation services were paused for about an hour and that their team is fixing the issue soon.

Company’s share price also fell slightly after the glitch.
