Mumbai:
In its last Sept meeting today, Maharashtra cabinet cleared five new plans to improve health care, help farmers, attract business and make courts and offices work faster.

1. Better Cancer Care Across State

Govt will set up a new body called MAHACARE Foundation with ₹100 crore to run a three-level cancer treatment system. Eighteen govt hospitals will get special cancer services.

2. Plan to Attract Global Companies

A new Global Capability Centre (GCC) 2025 policy has been passed. It aims to bring more foreign investment, new projects and jobs to Maharashtra.

3. Reliable Power for Farmers

Extra charges on big industrial and business power users will be used to fund solar pump schemes like PM-KUSUM. This is meant to give farmers a steady supply of electricity.

4. New Tech Body for Smart Planning

State will create MahaGeoTech Corporation to use maps and location technology in government work. This should speed up and improve planning of projects.

5. Senior Civil Court in Phaltan

A new senior civil court will be opened in Phaltan, Satara district. The state has approved money and posts for it.

Govt says these steps will benefit farmers, patients, businesses and citizens, and make services faster and better.
