Nagpur: Voting for local elections in Maharashtra started today. People are voting in 264 towns. But many problems happened at the polling booths.

Some EVM machines stopped working, so voting slowed down. Many people also could not find their names in the voter list, or their names were written wrongly.

Buldhana: Two Fake Voters Caught

In Buldhana, two people were caught trying to do fake voting.
Voting started at 7 am, and within a short time, these fake voters were found at Gandhi Primary School in Ward 15. One man used another person’s name to vote. Another man was also involved.

Congress leaders said that cars full of fake voters were brought from nearby villages. They asked the police to take action.

Congress Says Fake Voters Came in Private Cars

Congress candidate Datta Kakas said some people were brought from villages to vote illegally. Some videos of this are also seen on social media.

Palghar: Voters Stopped Because of Duplicate Names

In Dahanu, Palghar district, voters were angry because their names appeared twice in the voter list.
Because of this mistake, they were not allowed to vote at St. Mary’s polling booth in Ward 12.
Voters said, “The list is wrong. Why should we suffer? It is not our mistake.”
