Nagpur: Big blast happened around 12:30 in night on Sept 3, 2025, at Solar Explosives Company near Bajargaon, Nagpur. In this accident, one worker died and 17 workers were injured.
Injured workers were quickly taken to different hospitals in Nagpur. Four of them are in very serious condition.
The blast took place in the CB-1 plant of company. Before the blast, workers saw smoke coming out. Many workers ran outside to save themselves. But one worker, Mayur Ganvir, could not come out in time and died in blast.
The explosion was so strong that pieces of building flew far away and hit many workers. Police, fire brigade, and officers came to spot soon after.
This morning, many people gathered outside company, but no workers were allowed inside because of safety reasons.
Rescue teams first checked if more blasts would happen. Then they cooled down area and removed injured workers from under the broken building parts. After first aid, all were sent to hospitals.
Some injured were sent in vehicles arranged by Anil Deshmukh’s foundation. Company ambulances also carried workers to hospitals.
Reason for blast is still being checked by the officials.
