Nagpur: The reservation draw for Nagpur Municipal Corporation elections was held on Monday morning, defining the seat distribution for each category. This time, women have received significant representation — 76 out of 151 seats are reserved for women, while 75 are for men.
Political leaders, corporators, and party workers had been waiting for this draw for several days. Many sitting corporators and new candidates were anxious as the final list could change their electoral chances. Once the draw ended, some celebrated while others were disappointed.
