Nagpur: Nagpur is ready for a grand celebration of art, music, and devotion. ‘Khasdar Mahotsav 2025’, started by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, will begin on Nov 7 and continue till Nov 18 at Ishwar Deshmukh College Ground, Hanuman Nagar.
This year marks 10th edition of festival, which has become one of India’s most popular cultural events.
Opening ceremony on Nov 7 will be attended by Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj and Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, followed by the play ‘Hamare Ram’ starring Ashutosh Rana.
Music lovers can enjoy performances by Vishal Mishra (Nov 8), Akhil Sachdeva (Nov 12), Vishal & Rekha Bhardwaj (Nov 14), Shreya Ghoshal (Nov 16), Shankar Mahadevan (Nov 17), and Ajay-Atul (Nov 18).
Other attractions include a Fusion Night (Nov 9), Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra (Nov 11), and a Kavi Sammelan (Nov 15). Over 50,000 students will also take part daily in devotional chanting under ‘Jagar Bhakticha’.
