Pune: The much-awaited Pune (Hadapsar)-Jodhpur Express was flagged off by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav from Pune Railway Station today. This new train service is set to enhance travel convenience, speed, and affordability for the Rajasthani community in Maharashtra and tourists alike.
Expressing gratitude to Minister Vaishnav, MP Murlidhar Mohol lauded the railway ministry’s efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for advancing railway infrastructure in Pune city and district. During the event, Mohol urged the minister to introduce stoppages for the Bengaluru-Delhi and Hyderabad-Delhi Rajdhani Express trains at Pune and to launch a new Pune-Nashik train service.
The ceremony was attended by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat (Jodhpur), Union Minister of State Dr. L. Murugan (Chennai), Cabinet Minister Chandrakant Patil, MPs Medha Kulkarni and Shrirang Barne, along with other local representatives and citizens from Pune city and district.
