New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a press conference on Thursday where he strongly attacked the Election Commission of India.

He said that Commission is “protecting people who have destroyed Indian democracy.” Gandhi claimed that a huge number of voters were unfairly removed from the lists in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. He demanded that the Chief Election Commissioner give details of these deletions within a week.

Rahul Gandhi also said he has clear proof against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Recently, Gandhi had warned that he would reveal a “hydrogen bomb” of information about “vote theft.” He said his earlier claim about Karnataka was like an “atom bomb,” but now bigger proof will come out.

Congress party had earlier announced this special press conference at Indira Bhawan Auditorium.
