Mumbai — Bollywood fans are in for a treat as Ritesh Deshmukh, Salman Khan, and Sanjay Dutt come together for the much-awaited historical film ‘Raja Shivaji’, based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Actor-director Ritesh Deshmukh, who is directing and starring in the film, has continued shooting even through the Diwali holidays, calling it his “dream project.”
In a powerful casting move, Salman Khan will portray Jiwa Mahala, Shivaji Maharaj’s courageous and loyal warrior known for saving the Maratha king’s life. Salman is scheduled to shoot his major action sequences on November 7.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt will take on the role of Afzal Khan, Shivaji Maharaj’s formidable adversary. The prospect of seeing Ritesh, Salman, and Sanjay together in one frame has sparked massive excitement among fans and the film industry alike.
Salman and Ritesh have previously shared screen space in Marathi hits like “Lai Bhaari” and “Ved.” Their reunion in this grand historical drama promises to be one of the most exciting cinematic moments of the year.
