Yerkheda — BJP’s Nagar Panchayat 2025 candidate Rajkiran Shivram Barve has launched his “Next Generation Nagar Panchayat” manifesto, presenting a 10-point roadmap for a clean, modern, green and digital Yerkheda. Addressing citizens and party workers, Barve said development must benefit both the present and future generations. Supporters at the event appealed to voters to back the BJP’s Lotus symbol.
Barve promised a fully digital and transparent administration with a mobile app for quick grievance redressal, a 24×7 helpline, online civic services, and home-based bill payments and certificates. He said these measures would make governance faster and accountable.
On infrastructure, Barve announced a new connecting road between Yerkheda and Nagpur along with cement roads on major routes, LED street lights, improved rainwater management and a strengthened drainage network. Door-to-door garbage collection and a local waste processing unit were also included in the plan.
A major commitment is 24×7 drinking water through digital monitoring, new pipelines and leakage control systems. Green initiatives include planting 10,000 trees, installing solar-powered street lights and running a “No Plastic Yerkheda” campaign.
For housing and safety, the manifesto promises faster implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, upgrades in slum areas, a town-wide 360-degree CCTV network and a rapid-response emergency team operating with a 10-minute reach time.
Barve also announced youth-focused initiatives such as a modern playground, multi-sports complex, cultural hall, public library, study assistance and an annual “Youth Icon Award.” He said the development plan reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national vision, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ transparent governance, and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule’s district-level efforts.
Barve urged voters to support the BJP and said, “Your vote will shape a bright future for Yerkheda. Please vote for the Lotus symbol for strong development.”
