Mumbai : Politics in Maharashtra is hotting up around the Dussehra rallies. Two Shiv Sena camps one led by Uddhav Thackeray and the other by Eknath Shinde have launched videos for their events with sharp slogans.
Shinde camp is using “Bhagwa Thoughts, Bhagwa Blood,” while Uddhav’s camp says “Thackeray’s Vision, Maharashtra’s Voice.” This time, Shinde’s rally is at Azad Maidan and Uddhav’s is at Shivaji Park.
Uddhav camp leader Sanjay Raut mocked Shinde’s group saying they should hold the rally in Ahmedabad or Vadodara and invite Amit Shah and Jay Shah. He added that the Mumbai rally will continue Balasaheb Thackeray’s tradition.
Shinde camp leader Pratap Sarnaiak has reacted, but his full reply is not yet public.
This year Dussehra rallies are looking more like a political contest than a festival gathering.
