Akola: A 34-year-old man from Akola wrote a heartfelt letter to Sharad Pawar, asking for help to find a wife. Man said he felt lonely and was worried he might never get married.
Sharad Pawar’s party NCP (Sharad Pawar group) has now decided to help him. The party will look for a suitable bride and also take care of all the wedding costs, said district president Sangram Gawande.
During Sharad Pawar’s visit to Akola on November 8, the man gave him the letter. In it, he wrote that he would marry a girl from any community and was even ready to live with her family. His simple and emotional request touched everyone present.
After the letter went viral on social media, the party leaders told the local team to help the man. Gawande said they will soon start searching for a bride and make sure his life is settled.
This story has now become the talk of the state. Many people praised the kind gesture by Pawar’s party, while others said it shows how deeply loneliness affects many people today.
