Pune: Marathwada farmers are facing a serious flood crisis and need help immediately. Speaking at a gathering in Pune, Uddhav Thackeray said central government is not doing enough to support them.
He pointed out that in Bihar, where elections are near, Prime Minister Modi sent ₹10,000 to women’s bank accounts. Thackeray asked why Maharashtra, facing floods, is being ignored.
Ladki Bahin Yojana Give Six Months at Once
Thackeray said women in Marathwada should get six months’ payments together under the “Ladki Bahin” scheme so they can manage better during this crisis. He stressed that helping people is more important than politics.
He praised local leader Vasant More, saying Shiv Sena workers should help people wherever there is need. Thackeray added that leaders like More make people feel cared for and protected.
Thackeray criticized govt for forgiving big loans of rich industrialists while small farmers struggle. He said farmers never run away from loans, but when they cannot pay, they sometimes end their lives. Farmers deserve support and debt relief too.
