Mumbai: In Maharashtra, MarathavOBC fight over reservation is already creating trouble for govt. Now, another issue called the “Hyderabad Gazetteer” may also add problems.
Along with Maratha and OBC groups, Banjara community has also started meetings about reservation. At the same time, Congress leaders met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree.
Congress wants Leader of Opposition post in Legislative Council. The term of Ambadas Danve ended on Aug 29. Now, Congress is supporting the name of Satej Patil for post.
Right now, Congress has 8 members in the Council, while Shiv Sena has 6 members. Because of this, Congress is pressing its demand strongly inside the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
