New Delhi: People in India always hope that petrol and diesel prices will come down. Earlier, one litre of petrol was around 60, but now it costs more than 100. Because of this, everyone wants fuel rates to reduce.
Now a new report has given some hope. The global financial company JP Morgan has said that petrol and diesel prices may become much cheaper in the next few years.
Crude Oil Price May Drop Sharply
- JP Morgan has predicted that by 2027, the price of Brent crude oil may fall to 30 dollars per barrel. Right now, it is around 60 dollars.
- The reason for this possible fall is simple:
- Many countries may produce more crude oil.
- When supply increases, the price usually goes down.
- Because of this, fuel may become cheaper in many countries, including India.
If JP Morgan’s forecast becomes true, petrol and diesel prices in India may drop by almost half, which will be a big relief for common people.
