Mumbai: Gold and silver prices are rising again in India before the Navratri festival. On 29 Sept 2025, gold became about 500 more expensive than last week. In December market, gold went above 1,15,500 for 10 grams. Silver also went up to 1,44,000 per kilo and may soon reach 1,50,000.

More Buying Before Festival

In India, people think buying gold in Navratri is lucky. Because of this, gold buying has increased in cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Noida and Ghaziabad. Right now, 24-carat gold is around 1,15,000 for 10 grams in many places.

World Situation Affects Prices

Price rise is not only because of more buying in India. It is also because of world economic changes, changes in the US dollar, and people looking for safe investments. Experts say silver prices may keep going up for some days. Gold prices may go up and down a little.

What Buyers Should Know

Even with high prices, experts say gold is still a safe long-term investment. Silver may keep rising for some more time. This festival time could be important for buyers and investors. Gold may reach 1.30 lakh by year-end, and silver may cross 1.50 lakh by Dussehra.
